Welcome to The Studio @ Taigh Darach, your perfect retreat on the Isle of Skye.
The Studio is a new holiday let venture, attached to Taigh Darach, a new build, recently completed by the owners Nigel and Karen and has an EPC of B with
underfloor heating throughout.
Our non smoking studio style holiday let offers breathtaking views of The Outer Hebrides and is conveniently located near the iconic Neist Point.
Glendale village is just a short walk away which offers a shop, cafe, community hall and church.
Whether you're seeking a peaceful getaway or an adventure-filled escape,
The Studio is the ideal choice for your holiday.
Whilst The Studio is ideally suited for 2 adults it can easily accommodate 2 adults with
up to 2 small children, by making use of the double sofa bed in the lounge.
We are only licensed for a maximum of 4 people.
Sorry, but no pets allowed.
INSIDE
The Studio is on 2 levels with the main living area on the ground floor and a 2 person bedroom on the first floor.
The attic bedroom
is accessed by compact stairs and has a sloped ceiling on three sides.
The beds can be arranged as two singles or one double.
All bedding is provided.

The Studio has a well equipped kitchen with a two ring hob, extractor, combination microwave, fridge with ice box, toaster, kettle and coffee machine.
Tea towels are provided.

The property is situated in 3 acres of ground. A bench is provided in front of The Studio where you can enjoy uninterrupted views of the
Outer Hebrides.

Free parking is available on site
for 1 vehicle.
Bathroom
Spacious bathroom with electric shower and towel rail, toilet and wash basin. Towels are provided.

Dark Skies and Sunsets
Glendale is a dark skies area and is ideal for star gazing. On occasion you may even catch the aurora borealis.
More regularly you will be able to catch the stunning sunsets

The renowned Three Chimneys restaurant is just a 10 minute drive away with various others a short drive away in Dunvegan and numerous options available further afield .
Weather
Skye experiences a vast array of weather, sometimes four seasons in just one day, so do come prepared!
Leisure Activities
The Isle of Skye offers unlimited places to walk, cycle and explore with many local craft galleries The nearby Meanish Pier provides access for fishing and other water based activities. The Studio is within walking distance of two beaches.
Wildlife
There is an abundance of sea birds to be seen including sea eagles.
The garden of Taigh Darach has seen visitors such as deer, otter and geese.
Neist Point
The Studio is just a short drive from the popular tourist attraction of Neist Point where there have been sightings of minke whales, porposies, dolphins and even orcas.
